Centro de Estudos Asiáticos = Center for Asian Studies
Citation: The Centre for Asian Studies of the University of Aveiro (CEAUA) was created in August of 1997 with the goal of actively promoting activities that contribute to the acquirement and diffusion of knowledge regarding Asian countries in the areas of Language, History, Culture, Politics, Economics and Management, as well as to increase the interaction between the University of Aveiro and other academic institutions from Asian countries.
The main activity of the CEAUA is postgraduate training both at a Masters and PhD level. The interaction with the community is another important issue in the CEAUA activities and for that purpose the Centre organises regularly seminars, conferences and talks.
