Citation: Koreana, a quarterly published by the Korea Foundation since 1987, is dedicated to increasing awareness about Korea's cultural heritage overseas as well as providing information about current artistic and cultural activities. Each issue of Koreana features an in-depth look at various aspects of a specific theme. Over the past decade, some 60 themes have been covered in the magazine. Recent issues have focused on Gaya Kingdom, the Seas of Korea, and the Pusan International Film Festival(PIFF). Koreana also introduces Korea's traditional artisans, lifestyles, natural attractions and other topics related to Korea. Koreana is distributed to universities, libraries, museums, research centers and various other cultural and art institutions in about 150 countries. Koreana webzine provides access to all articles that have been printed in Koreana since 1987. Articles from the English edition are offered in text and PDF format, while articles from editions in other languages in PDF format only. The original Korean text of each article is also available starting from the Fall issue 2003.
